A common devART pet peeve of mine...

One of the many things that I didn't miss from devART are coming back to me. People are faving my work without comments. :\

While I do appreciate *arthaus' comments as being my only "vocal fan," (really James, thanks!), it's a tick of mine when someone likes my work, but doesn't say anything at all about it. Not even an "ooh-that's-cool" remark. Compliments or complete insults are better than no comments at all--although I, like many other sane people, don't like to be insulted on a regular basis.

So please, people who actually like my art enough to fave it: comment! After coming back to devART, it'll make me feel welcome here again!

I agree dude. I hate when that happens. Even when people say bad things I'm happy because it gives me something to work on.

Ergh! Even though I know comments don't count for hits, it's still an indicator on if the hits are coming from frickin' machines or not. :\

I know what your saying. I pretty much have left this site in favor of other places. The feedback just ain't what it used to be and the popularity game is far to big a factor these days. We're in the Facebook age, friend, which was born from the Myspace age. Lurkers and more messages that start and end with 'cool'. Those are also one word comments by the way. I feel my art gets wasted here mostly.

Not the point of my message however. We should get together again, catch up. You know all that. Haven't seen you in a couple years and I've become a recluse myself. Your still local I hope?
